7 Months 16 Days

Well, I missed another entire day of blogging on Grazers Anonymous, so I think since I have few followers I'll just can this blog and concentrate on other things. I'll post a note on the Facebook Weight Watchers site occasionally just in case somebody out there is interested....signing off with a current weight loss of 32 pounds. Hoping to reach my half-way goal of 35 pounds in January after struggliing to maintain during Christmas.

7 Months 14 Days

Well my weight was definitely down this morning. Not sure why, but I'll take it. Have upset tummy and my sinuses are messed up due to the severe cold dry air, I suppose.

Had cereal with fresh grapes and coffee for breakfast. Guess I'll work on that tuna salad at lunch time...maybe with a cup of hot soup.

Tonight, I'll have one of the Smart Ones even though the point values are wrong. I have to eat all the things I've already bought and the new point value products aren't even out yet!

7 Months 13 Days

Had yogurt and coffee. For lunch I had a tuna sandwich and an apple.

Mid-afternoon I ate a chocolate pudding (no sugar).

Before I went to grandson's play I had a bowl of soup and some crackers.

Now I'm nibbling on pecans.

7 Months 12 Days Weigh-In

RATS! I was up 1.8! I went back to look at what I ate yesterday, and I thought I was doing really well with the new plan. There seem to be lots of folks upset right now. I have already screwed up today by having fried chicken wings for lunch, but they were delicious and I'll eat soup or salad tonight.

7 Months 11 Days

I got up this morning determined to follow the new plan. I had a bowl of cereal with a banana and enough milk to cover it. Forgot about the fresh grapes I'd just bought, but I'll have them later.

For lunch, I had turkey tomato wraps, grapes, and a few chip crumbs. I've up my liquids too.

Tonight I had grilled chicken breast, broccoli casserole, steamed carrots and stewed apples. Wonderful! Grilled enough chicken for a salad tomorrow after weigh-in.

Did some work on my arms and abs because it never got out of the low 30s with wind chill in the 20s.

7 Months 10 Days Back from Asheville

I did fairly well following the OLD Weight Watchers program while I was in Asheville with family. We left Friday morning and got home after dark on Sunday. We ate out every meal. I was happy with my choices but knew I wasn't getting enough water. My skin dried out in all the cold weather and wind while we were shopping and at Biltmore Estate. Got home Sunday night and went crazy over the peanut brittle I had avoided before I left, made for my son to take to Nebraska, but enough left to be around the house. I need to give it away. May take it to my neice who loves it.

Anyway, I had a small yogurt with coffee this morning. I want to get serious about the new plan but this is a rough time of year to start something new. I have cabinets full of things I intend to eat because I'm not throwing them out! So, I'll probably have Progresso soups for lunch and dinner.

I did get my exercise walking and climbing stairs but it's a wind chill in tghe 20s today so I'm not walking outside. I'll try to do some floor exercises and stretches and sit-ups later today.

7 Months 6-9 Days

We're leaving for Asheville in a little while so I won't be writing about my eatings until I get back. I'm planning to stick to the new plan as best I can understand it but I also want to enjoy myself.

Had a strawberry yogurt that's either 3 or 4 points now and a cup of coffee. We'll be doing plenty of walking while shopping and then much more at Biltmore.

7 Months 5 Days

I'm going to try to track the new system today, before I leave on a 3-day journey. One problem I have is that my cabinets are fully stocked with Progresso soups that were 0 or 1 point, now 2 or 3. I know that's still not much, so I'll deal with it. I have yogurts that need to be finished up and crackers that were 1 point that are now 3. I ate a small bowl of oatmeal with stewed apples leftover from last night. Added just enough Half and Half to make it creamy. Now to figure that out.

I'm planning to finish tuna salad from yesterday for lunch with a fesh apple. That'll take care fo the apples already in the house. I need to study and make a list of things I can take with me to have for breakfast while the others are enjoying themselves. I suppose if I eat at Cracker Barrel I won't have to count the apples? They're loaded with sugar so I have no idea. My only salvation may be all the walking and stairs we're going to be doing at Biltmore House and grounds.

Having dinner with my son before he leaves on his trip. Think we're having roast beef. I've saved up some points to enjoy. I also steamed carrots wtih Splenda brown sugar and lots of black pepper. Wonderful!

7 Months 4 Days

I was up .2 today at Weigh-in after a week with two Thanksgiving feasts and one birthday dinner so I was pleased that's all I'd gained. I got all the new materials for the Points Plus program but I need to study. Not sure what to do until I read it. Glad to hear about the fruits and vegetables being 0 points for the most part. They raised my dpt from 22 to 29. That scares me. Anyway, I bought the new points calculator. Leaders says that all Weight Watchers products are switching to the new point values. This is such a busy time of year to start this, but I'm in it to win it. Wondering how others feel about it.

I've read the book and feel somewhat better although I'll be traveling for 3 days and eating all meals out. Not sure how to handle that. I didn't even try to track today.
