Drank a smoothie. Off to weigh and stay for the meeting.
Lost another 1 1/2 pounds! I was afraid since my weight has fluctuated wildly this week. Official total weight loss is 17.4 pounds. Got a free sample of Ranch multi-grain chips. Very good at 2 points.
Had honey-baked ham, thinly sliced with new potato and collards that weren't good. Didn't eat them.
We won the baseball game and now head to the state finals next week. Ate a cheesburger at Andy's at 8:30 pm with unsweet tea.
I'm overweight and tired of it. I've decided to hold myself accountable in several ways. Feel free to follow my struggle and comment or encourage whenever you can.

Week 7 Day 7
GEEZ! I'm up 3 pounds since Sunday morning! What the heck is going on? I"m so tired and have no energy at all. Not looking forward to another long afternoon in the heat, but got to do it for the boys.
Having a bowl of high fiber cereal. I'll try to drink lots of water this morning.
Had a spinach wrap for lunch.
We got rained out so ate at a local restaurant. I got chicken salad with stewed squash and green beans. Delicious, but I have no idea what they seasoned with.

Week 7 Day 6
Drat! My weight is up over a pound this morning and I tried to be very careful yesterday. Hubby cut the fried chicken breasts in half, so I thought I did well to eat that, broccoli salad, collards (certain they were seasoned with really good stuff like pure pork), and fresh fruit. Then after the game last night, we all stopped at a grungy pizza restaurant I hate (but I didn't announce that), and I ended up with a tiny salad, mainly lettuce. I came home and ate the other half of my chicken breast, which may have been my demise unless it was the hidden seasoning in the collards.
Had yogurt this morning and biked two miles. Already hot but the humidity isn't quite so bad. I plan to stay in most of the day and do some indoor activities. The championship game (I think) is tonight at 8:00 so I can eat here before I go. The broccoli salad and/or collards have made me flatulent.
Had turkey/spinach wrap for lunch with a cold crisp apple.
My lunch didn't last so I ate a Lean Cuisine Thai Noodle dish (6 points) at 4:30. That might be good because it can settle before I go out in the heat for the game.
We lost the game so we have to play the same team again tomorrow. Had a bowl of cereal with milk and went to bed.

Week 7 Day 5: Family Reunion
I was down two whole pounds this morning! YIPPEE! Maybe I'm sweating if off. The guys stopped for home made peach milk shakes after the ball game yesterday, but I refrained. That would have been more points than I have all day long!
This morning I ate two scrambled eggs with turkey bacon and some grape juice.
My family reunion plan: hubby is frying chicken and cousins are cooking a pig. I'm opting for a wonderful piece of chicken, so that means I have to be especially careful what else goes in the pie hole. I'm taking fresh chilled watermelon and broccoli craisin salad so I can turn to that if there's nothing else I can have. Hopefully there will be some fresh potatoes. I'm sure there'll be fresh corn, but I won't eat that since I'm not taking Butter Buds and such. I'll pack a Weight Watchers peanut butter bar for my dessert. One point while others are eating 1,000 plus calories.
The ball game is at 4:00 today and it's going to be 100 degrees plus heat index around 110! Packed water, sunscreen, visor, and Hell Swamp fans to hand out to other people who are struggling to stay cool.

Week 7 Day 4
Well, apparently eating two pieces of "fried" chicken yesterday caused my weight to be up this morning, just a few ounces. but still it hurts my feelings. I have to admit, it was more than 4 oz. both times, so it may be portion size rather than the corn flakes and bread crumbs on the chicken. Miss WW says to double points when you eat more than the portion you should. Makes perfect sense, and I didn't do it this time.
Rode bike 1 1/2 miles and then came home and ate a small yogurt. Drinking water now. I know I haven't had enough water the past few days...another possible reason I was up a few ounces.
Just found out that the All-Star game is in another county and we must leave about 11:30 to get to the game on time. Taking my tent, chair, sunscreen and bug spray. My son wants to pick up lunch somewhere and make sure my grandson gets something to eat prior to the game. I'm at a loss about what I will find. I'm packing a couple of WW bars in case I don't find a salad or something light and acceptable. Really don't want to eat much since we'll be outside in this heat (90 degrees).
We stopped at Arby's and I found a salad I could have so I'm saving the Kashi bar for another time.
Drank water and stewed at the game. We won!
Ate another "fried chicken" with a delicious chilled apple.

Week 7 Day 3
I was glad to see the scales down a few ounces this morning even though I had a wonderful fresh ear of corn yesterday.
Had a bagel with WW cream cheese and juice for breakfast. I'm fixing a big lunch since we have a double-header out of town tonight. Even though the family will want to stop to eat, I'll take along a Fiber One bar just in case I can't find anything suitable.
I'm thawing skinless chicken breasts and found a recipe for "fried" chicken that's baked in the oven. I purchased a wonderful and huge recipe book entitled Eat What You Love and it has the Weight Watchers points at the bottom. The author is a nutritionist who's spent years figuring out recipes. I've already been cover to cover highlighting. You should get this book if you like to cook and feel like you're getting in a rut. I don't make a dime from advertising, but it really is a good book, at least for me. I'm also making pickle chips for lunch because hubby will love them.
I ate another piece of the chicken on top of a salad for supper since hubby was gone.

Week 7 Day 2
I was down almost 2 pounds this morning. Not sure why, but happy about it. Hubby fixed french toast (wheat bread) for our grandson who spent the night and me. I hemmed and hawed and finally said "yes", and fixed turkey bacon to go with it. My pancake syrup is "lite" but certainly not sugar-free. I had already drunk some orange juice when he decided to do this, so I used up far more points for breakfast than I intended.
We went to Duplin County and got the fresh corn we'd ordered, came home, shucked, and got it ready for the freezer. We have 15 bags off the cob and 80 ears.
For lunch I had a turkey wrap with only chipotle mayo in it and one ear of corn. Delicious! Now I only have 9 points for the rest of the day and another day without outdoor physical activity. It is 99 degrees.
Boiled shrimp and hubby ate two ears of corn. I made a small salad to go with mine. Shrimp were fantastic!
Had a Weight Watchers ice cream bar and it was fabulous. I fee like I cheated.

Week 7 Day 1: Weigh-In
Ate a small yogurt and drank some Ruby Red. Off to shower and go weigh and stay for the meeting.
I was a little disappointed that I only lost 1 1/2 pounds this week, the least I've lost since starting the program. Not sure if it was The Cheesecake Factory visit or that I haven't exercised as much as I should. It's so hot outside even first thing in the morning. I must do some indoor activities! I had lost enough to get another star, so I now have three and have lost over 15 pounds. I'm keeping my eyes on getting under 200 pounds over the next two weeks even though we have a family reunion Sunday. I plan to take fruits and veggies I can eat because there will be fresh corn and potatoes along with casseroles and decadent desserts. More about my plan later in the week.
Had roast beef/ham wrap with chipotle mayo. Kicking! and a cup of grapes for lunch.
Ate Weight Watchers lasagna and squash after ball game ended with lightning.

Week 6 Day 7
I burned my bagel and the house stinks now. I grabbed a strawberry/fiber yogurt instead and drank some Ruby Red with it.
Hubby and I will be working on fresh corn this morning, although I'm not too interested since it was pulled last week and stuck in brother-in-law's cooler. Will probably have to cut it off and freeze it for soups and such. We will be getting fresh-picked corn Thursday morning and that should be much better. I'll have to use all will power to keep from eating too much of it.
Well, I ate some more BBQ and slaw for lunch and threw out the rest. Thawing cubed venison steak to cook for supper with fresh creamed corn that I won't touch since I have to weigh in the morning. I'll eat some tomorrow for lunch instead. Think I'll have fresh tomato, bell pepper, and cukes with it. May cook enough rice for hubby to have with gravy.
The country-style steak was great with my steamed veggies and just a tiny bit of rice with gravy. Had some fresh tomato also. Lots of onions in meat and veggies. Where's the Scope?

Week 6 Day 6
I slept well and drank some juice before heading out to walk. It was 73 degrees but the humidity made it feel much warmer. Came back and ate a bagel with WW cream cheese. I'm so glad I found that because I love cream cheese and it's only 1 point!
I have a dermatology appointment at noon so I'll decide on lunch after that. We have a ball game tonight, so not sure what we'll eat. Hubby and son are playing golf right now.
I came home and ate BBQ and green beans for lunch. Okay, enough pork for a while. I hate to throw things out, but really....Duke will eat it even though it's not good for him either.
I have noticed that my panties are too loose in the legs so my body parts are in danger of falling out. :-00
EEK! So I guess I'll be purchasing a smaller size panty:-)) I moved to my middle bra hooks too. Nice to have the girls secure and actually inside the bra with no muffin tops!

Week 6 Day 5
My weight was down this morning, so apparently the banana pudding didn't mess me up. I stood and moved around for so many hours that I couldn't sleep because me joints hurt so bad. I am moving around gingerly this morning.
I made coffee and had strawberry fiber yogurt with it. Now to clean up the tables, chairs, umbrellas, etc. from yesterday and get the trash to the road for early pick-up tomorrow.
Ate some BBQ with slaw and cauliflower. Others ate potato salad with theirs.
Fixed myself a shaved turkey, lettuce on wheat flatbread with chipotle mayo. Very good.

Week 6 Day 4
Where do the weeks go? I"m over half-way through six weeks on Weight Watchers.Wow! I had yogurt for breakfast, biked two miles and came back and ate a little cereal with milk. I plan to finish last night's steak at lunch on top of a small salad.
Hubby and sons are cooking a pig (it's supposed to be 92 degrees today) for the 25th reunion of the state baseball champions. Hubby coached and older son was the short-stop. We're looking forward to having 75 people for dinner and are setting up tents, tables, chairs, and fans to be outside since our house won't hold them all.
Menu: vinergar-based eastern North Carolina pulled pork, slaw, potato salad, hush puppies, banana pudding. I will eat pig and slaw and maybe sneak a little cauliflower from the fridge for my plate. I have a WW raspberry chocolate yogurt I'll have if I can eat it without attracting attention. I only have one.
Boy, am I tired! I think everyone had a great time but it was tremendously hot to be outside. We had three large fans going but it was still tough. The pig was perfect. I ate two pieces along with a sizable portion of slaw, no potato salad or puppies. I eventually did eat a small bowl of pudding and it was delicious.

Week 6 Day 3
I stuck to my plan and the Thai lettuce wraps were delicious and fun to construct. I plan to make my own lettuce wraps at home with fresh veggies and such now that I have discovered this fun way to eat a "salad". I got the cheescake with strawberries on top and my friend found a version made with Splenda which would have been better for me as well. I didn't realize this until the desserts arrived and she offered me a bite of hers. She's borderline diabetic and watching sugar. Turns out that The Cheesecake Factory has some healthy choices afterall. Next time, I'm getting the cheesecake made with Splenda. I couldn't tell the difference.
The Eagles concert rocked! Those guys played for over 2 1/2 hours, only taking a quick break.
This morning I drank a smoothie for breakfast and walked a mile. The humidity was so much better.
Made myself a homemade lettuce wrap with julienned carrots and squash and water chestnuts. Grilled a small skinless chicken breast that looked as though it had been run over in the highway. Good but missing something. The veggies and chestnuts were way too bland. Need to work on this.
Hubby grilled steaks and I had green beans and cauliflower with mine and only ate 1/2 steak.

Week 6 Day 2
Got up early and had a WW yogurt for breakfast before heading out for a pedicure and hair cut.
Ate a Lean Pocket (6 points) for lunch. There are two in the box, so I'm glad I read the serving size or I'd have eaten up 12 points. Can't do that today because my pal and I are heading to Raleigh this afternoon to shop, dine, and GO TO THE EAGLES CONCERT!!!! I'm so excited!
Mary, my pal, wants to dine at The Cheesecake Factory, so I went online and looked up their nutrition guide. They actually have a lettuc wrap wroth 3 points. Who knew? Not sure if there's anything inside the lettuce, but I think I'll have that and a piece of strawberry cheesecake, the only one that even remotely comes close to my points allowance at 15 points! That's why I'm saving up 18 points for the day.
I hope it works out that way. I figure by planning ahead, I won't get as side-tracked. Wish me luck!!!

Week 6 Day 1
Had yogurt and took vits and fiber. Weighed in. Lost 2 pounds this week for a total of 14 1/2 pounds in five weeks. I guess that's good, but I wanted to get another star this week and missed it by 1/2 pound. A friend at WW told me to go online and print out the list of negative calorie foods to throw into other things I'm eating to help negate some of those points. The list includes asparagus, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery, lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, turpnips, grapefruit, honeydew, canteloupe, peaches, straberries, tangerines, and watermelon. One lady says when she makes a pizza she throws some of these things on there. I haven't tried making a pizza. Scared I'd eat the entire thing. Not sure what kind of crust I'd use. I need to ask about that.
Stopped by the grocery store and got a few things. Came home and ate a bagel and the leftover lean burger with no condiments.
Some friends said they could tell I'd lost weight. Yahh!
Had a salad for supper with grilled chicken on top and some of those "negative calorie" veggies. Is anyone else doing that? I've been using some of them all the time and didn't realize my system has to work harder to digest them, so it seems to be a good thing. I was so stuffed (ate a larger portion than I needed) so I just rode my bike two miles to help make up for it.
OMG! My brother-in-law just gave me two tickets to the Eagles concert tomorrow night because he has to go to a funeral. How great is that! Wow! Now to find a friend who can go on short notice...

Week 5 Day 7
Had wheat toast and whipped peanut butter. I like this peanut butter because it doesn't take as much and I still have the taste I'm looking for.
I know I'm not getting enough exercise in this heat, so I need to do more indoor exercising and try to get out there much earlier in the morning. I may take my bike out to the track this morning.
Biked 2 1/4 miles. Ate a Black and Blue salad at Texas Steakhouse with no rolls! That's a first:))
I came home and looked up my salad online to see how many points it was. 9 freaking?!? It was mostly lettuce, for Heaven's sake. I am frustrated now.
At a box of Pad Tai noodles and went to play Dominoes. I took carrot sticks and water mix to have while they ate chips, dips, cake.

Week 5 Day 6
I had a small yogurt with cereal in it for breakfast. Didn't get to walk since all 3 grandsons came in early to spend the day. They dug potatoes with their grand pa while I vacuumed and did a few in-house chores. Hubby plans to have hamburgers and fresh from the garden fries for lunch. I'm not sure what I'll do about that. Guess I could eat a burger with no bun and a few fries. Can eat less tonight since there are two ball games in different counties. Must decide which to attend.
I ate two burgers with no bun, creamed cauliflower, tomatoes for lunch after cooking fresh corn and fries for the others. Hard, but I did it! Hubby was amazed.
Ate a Fiber One bar and went to ball game. Got home about 8:30 and ate a bowl of shredded wheat with pears on top and just enough milk to cover.

Week 5 Day 5
I slept well and drank a glass of juice before heading out to walk. It's already 76 degrees, heading into the high 90s with plenty of humidity. The heat index will be over 100 today. Going to another ball game this afternoon, but I'm wearing cotton shorts and the thinnest shirt I can get by with and still look decent.
I think I'll have yogurt for breakfast, and maybe a large salad for lunch since the game isn't until 4:00 pm.
After we won the game, we headed to Heroes. I got what they called a Ribeye salad. About 5 thin strips of steak on lettuce and little else. Didn't satisfy me so I came home and later ate a few almonds and later a WW ice cream sandwich. I'm done now.

Week 5 Day 4
I woke up at 4:30 and couldn't go back to sleep. Had turkey bacon and Eggbeaters for breakfast with juice.
Took a Fiber One bar with me to two grandsons' ballgames. Heat index near 100 degrees but we sat under a tent so that helped. Drank 2 big bottles of water.
Came home and ate 1/2 bagel with Weight Watchers cream cheese...good stuff and only 1 point! A great find!
For supper, I finished the last chicken tender, wild rice, and ate some more of the green beans from last night. Hubby isn't home.

Week 5 Day 3
I'm keeping all three grandsons today so I drank juice and ate 2 pieces of wheat toast with a smear of peanut butter. Taking them to my neice's pool and then out to lunch. I stuck a Fiber One bar in my purse for me.
I had planned to walk or bike, but the truck won't hold all of us and our bikes and the dog, so we'll exercise in the pool. We did go to the track but the boys brought scooters rather than bikes. Then we went to the pool for three hours. I bought them lunch at Burger King and ate a Fiber One bar with a bottle of ice water.
Feels good to be back in AC since it's 96 degrees today. Having a tall glass of water.
Had chicken tenders, wild rice, string beans, and squash. Yummy! I'm full and satisfied.

Week 5 Day 2
I rode my bike 2 1/2 miles and watered all the roses and azaleas. Now I'm having a WW key lime yogurt with a little All Bran on top. Very good.
I just realized that I haven't been factoring in my activity points. I need to go back and read that booklet again. Had a turkey on wheat sandwich again for lunch but stewed a Granny Smith apple to go with it. Filling. I have to pick up grandson after school (last day) and we might take the pedal boat out on the pond for a while, weather permitting.
Fixed some chicken tenders and fried squash for supper. I know I shouldn't have fried anything, but I battered them lightly and they were very good. Hubby didn't get home until very late. Plenty left for tomorrow.

Week 5 Day 1
I ate real scrambled eggs, turkey bacon and 1/3 cup of grits (with Buter Buds) with hubby.
Weighed in. I've lost 12 1/2 pounds! YIPPEE! I got my second star today along with a round of applause. Feels good. Got my booklet about eating out.
Came home and ate turkey on wheat sandwich with chipotle mayo. Just enough kick to be good and I hear that pepper helps rev up metabolism. Finished off the watermelon with it. Yummy combination.
Haven't exercised yet. May wait until late afternoon and bike a while. Deadheaded roses and fertilized them. Moved bird feeder from sunroom window to back deck and restocked it with songbird seed. Do I sound a little like Martha Stewart?
Ate Tai Pei General Tso's package with wild rice. Good but much spicier than I like. I had to measure my rice to make sure I didn't go overboard. Satisfying, but I hope I don't have indigestion in the middle of the night.
Beginning to get a few hunger pangs but it's only 5:10 so I'll try to wait a while to eat. Haven't decided whether to have a salad with grilled chicken or eat one of the Smart Ones entrees. I have 9 points left since I used too many for breakfast. I'll have to watch real eggs. Too many points. I like Eggbeaters but hubby doesn't.

Week 4 Day 7
Slept well. Took vits and fiber and had a mini-wheat bagel with a smear of peanut butter and a small glass of orange juice.
Walked before it got hot. Saw several bunnies for the first time in a very long time.
Went to grandson's 8th grade graduation.
Decided to eat a Smart Ones pizza before going to the game since it won't be over until after 8 pm. Very spicy but good at 8 points. I stilll have a few points left. Now where's that Scope?
Home from game but not really hungry so that's a good thing.

Week 4 Day 6...baby steps
I'm down a few more ounces this morning. I guess I'm into the "Baby steps" phase where I'll only lose a few ounces at the time, but at least I'm going down and not up. I know the weight will come off with small daily increments of effort if I stick to it, so I'm trying to relax and enjoy the process and the challenges it brings.
Having blueberry yogurt for breakfast and then going for a walk with weights before it gets too hot.
The weather was nice, not much humidity this morning. got a good walk in with my 2 lb. weights while Duke happily marked his territory.
Just nibbled on a few fresh strawberries and froze the rest before they go bad.
Tonight is when I needed the food scale to weigh my spaghetti. I made sauce with venison (very lean) and cooked wheat spaghetti noodles, but I'm afraid I ate too much of it with my salad. Satisfied? Immensely! Nothing else going in the pie hole tonight. I'm buying the food scale Wednesday at the meeting.

Week 4 Day 5
I was down over a pound this morning although I felt bloated from all the fresh cabbage and squash I've been eating, but was happy to see the weight back down. I had 2 strips of turkey bacon (1 point each), a mini-wheat bagel, and 1/2 cup of Eggbeaters. Nice. A lady on Facebook told me about some bagels that are large but only 1 point each, but I haven't been able to find them. I did find the WW cream cheese with only 1 point.
Went to church and took communion. Wonder how much that little snippet of bread and grape juice was? I'm not counting that.
I have to decide what to have for lunch since I'm walking at the Y at 2 pm with other members of my WW group. So glad the track is inside.
Okay, so I'm back home early. The track was small, a cinderblock wall on one side, a black guard rail on the other. Too many people on it at one time. Miss WW said to walk 37 laps which is 3 miles. I didn't make it. My knees were instantly aware that the track was not asphalt but concrete. The rail made me dizzy after 7 laps. So this is not for me. I headed home. I'd rather be outside and will go early in the day when it's this hot. Don't care for the inside narrow Y track at all. I realize it's a good introduction for people who haven't been doing anything, but my arthritic knees are use to asphalt and I AM exercising on a regular basis, not only walking but trekking and biking.
Picked up fresh strawberries and a watermelon on the way home. Got out vension burger to thaw so hubby can grill it when he gets home. Yum!
Grilled burgers on my indoor George Foreman since hubby is out of charcoal. Not quite the same taste, but good anyway. Since venison is so lean and the hamburger fat cooked out, it was almost too lean. Fewer points! I added lettuce, onion, and a slice of our first tomato of the season on my mini-wheat bagel. Even hubby ate that since I didn't have burger buns. Passable. I still have points left for a nice snack later, like maybe watermelon or an ice cream bar.

Week 4 Day 4
I'm up .4 pounds this morning. Has to be the chicken strips and fries. So...back to being extra careful. I'm not going to beat myself up over this. If I'm going to commit to becoming a Weight Watchers life-time member, I have to figure out how to eat some things I want along the way. The fiber bars are good and filling, and they're fine for many situations. My tummy seems to be better this morning.
What do other members do when they're on the run and don't want to/can't eat out?
It's alread hot and I just got up. Need to at least ride my bike today and to some exercise inside.
Rode my bike 2 3/4 miles, the most in years. Since I had pork chops not cooked, hubby put them on the grill and I steamed a cabbage to do with the leftover veggies from yesterday's lunch. He had to stay with his mother, so we packed two extra chops, some freshly dugged potatoes, fresh squash and part of an onion for him to cook for her once he gets the mowing done. Believe it or not, there are still two chops left. I don't plan to buy packages that big anymore unless I know company's coming. That leaves me to eat them tonight or tomorrow. Not sure I should althoug they are grilled and I can fix nearly zero point items to go with them. Did I say "them"? I don't need to eat but one.
Had a carrot mid-afternoon. I need to drink more water.

Week 4 Day 3
Had yogurt for breakfast. Went to store to buy cookie dough to make cookies for 87 8th graders! This will test my resolve for sure. I'm in the process of baking now. Finished the chocolate chips, and peanut butter cookies and now doing the sugar cookies, all requests of my 8th grade grandson. Can't believe he'll be in high school in August. I'm so proud of him. He deserves cookies. Just hope he leaves a few for the other 86 kids.
Cooking a big lunch of pork chops, steamed vegetables, and creamed cauliflower, a good substitute for taters or rice. Glad hubby doesn't insist on those. He's not picky and it certainly helps me stay on track.
I HAVE NOT TOUCHED A COOKIE!!!
Grilled pork chops with steamed veggies and cauliflower. Very good. First chop I've had since starting the program. Rubbed a little fat-free Zesty Italian dressing on it before throwing on the in-door grill.
Will be out of the house the rest of the day. Taking a Fiber One bar with me to avoid eating the wrong things. They're great "emergency" plan.
Okay so I changed plans. Here's what happened: My tummy was so upset I figured I'd overdone the fiber, so before the ball game, I stopped at BoJangle's and got 4 small chicken strips with honey mustard. I have no idea how many points that was, but they were good and quite spicy. Hopefully the hot spices revved up my metabolism and the scales won't show that I jumped track. Came home and ate a 2 point ice cream bar. Nothing else goes in until tomorrow.

Week 4 Day 2
Ate a cup of cereal with a fresh peach and just enough milk to get it down.
Played golf with hubby again.
Stopped at Grady's BBQ and I got a tiny BBQ chicken breast, cabbage, and green beans with unsweet tea.
We're going to a ball game tonight so I'll just eat light. Don't really know how to count these points since I have no idea what was in the meal, but it was delicious. Took a Fiber One bar to game and ate it with water.
At 8:30 back home, I ate a Lean Cuisine egg roll with rice. Not bad and certainly satisfying.

Week 4 Day 1
Had a cup of All-Bran cereal with just enough milk to cover it.
Weighed in. I had lost 2 pounds and I know I should be happy about that but I was disappointed. This is where it gets harder. I know I need to lose it slowly to keep it off, but I didn't even use up my points each day. I really hoped for another pound. Oh well, at least I'm going down.
Did a little shopping and came home to eat a ham sandwich. I want to get fresh shrimp to boil for tonight and hubby will make slaw. I told him to use just enough mayo to hold it together. I may have a tiny potato with it.
Had shrimp, slaw and small potato.

Week 3 Day 7
I weigh tomorrow. I drank my water and took fiber supplement. Drank a Slim Fast and ate two pieces of turkey bacon my husband cooked with his breakfast. He really expected me to eat grits and eggs and toast with it. I thanked him and refused. Why is it that all the months I wanted a big breakfast, he ate cereal, and when I can't eat all that stuff at one time, he's cooked a big breakfast TWICE since I started the program? He says he's glad I'm losing weight. Duh!
I WILL NOT ALLOW MYSELF TO FALTER! The dog enjoyed my portion. :-))
I connected with a group of folks on Facebook's Weight Watchers group, and I hope that we can encourage each other. I invited them to come over and add comments or follow my struggle. I hope some do. It would be good for all of us.
Hubby went to the grill for lunch while I fixed a salad. This lettuce came from our garden and it tasted bitter, but I ate it with a fork tine of dressing in each bite. I only added beets, carrots, and a few fried onions but I can already tell I'm not going to be satisfied. I could have added 1/4 cup of nuts but the onions were crunchy. I didn't add egg either. I drank V-8 juice with it. Lunch packed with veggies, that's for sure.
Went to ball game. We stopped at Andy's about 8:00 pm and I ordered a salad. Satisfying but I had to take out the strong raw onions.
