I've been away for a while with hubby on our 43rd anniversary. We went to a cabin in West Jefferson and had a great time. It was much cooler there and we played golf, canoed, went to a street concert, and visited an old friend. I have to admit I didn't take my tracker. I wanted to simply relax and not worry about weight. I weighed this morning and I'm up one pound, but Hey! I enjoyed it. I drank sweet tea and should have had water. I ate a piece of cheesecake shared with hubby. I had fried chicken and a few french fries. Not many choices in the remote mountains, but I got plenty of exercise climbing around on the fairways and up to the greens. Our canoe trip was 1 1/2 hours of constant paddling, so I'm sore in a few places, but it was gorgeous on the river. The water was so low we had to push off the boulders several times.
I rode my bike two miles this morning after some juice and a Nutrigrain bar.
I think I'll have a sandwich for lunch. My temporary crown flossed out last night so I'll go to the dentist this afternoon. Must be careful what I eat until that's fixed.
I had a bowl of Clam Chowder, only 1 Weight Watchers point! Delicious with a mini-bagel and WW cream cheese. Very good.
